Yellow PagesHURRICANE – Wal-Mart has broken ground on a new store to serve the Hurricane Valley.
Construction on the site at 3700 West and State Route 9 is expected to be finished by early next year. The store should be open in the spring of 2009.
The Wal-Mart store is just one of several commercial projects planned for the SR-9 corridor between the Virgin River and downtown Hurricane. Also in the works near the Wal-Mart site are a Maverick super store and a retail commercial center.
